Samantha Grimes Releases Her Debut Record with the label "Trainwreck"

Samantha Grimes releases her highly-anticipated debut single “Trainwreck” on Return Records. Hailing from a small rural town in Minnesota, 34 year-old singer/songwriter Samantha Grimes pens equally intelligent and catchy pop/rock music on her trusty Martin acoustic guitar, signed by her idol, Fran Healy of the UK band Travis. Musicians and influencers alike have touted her 90s inspired style and praised her vocals as “sweet yet sultry”. “Trainwreck” was written by Samantha Grimes and produced by industry veteran J. Christopher. J. Christopher also appears on bass with Rob Lee on drums. The song is an alliteration to the confusion of love and lust, as well as the messy interpretation of those ideas in one’s own mind. “Trainwreck” is the first track off a multiple-release spread planned through 2022; culminating as a full album yet to be titled. Samantha Grimes performs live throughout the upper Midwest. Her next appearance is August 5th Minneapolis, MN.
