Washington D.C.-Based R&B/Soul Artist Diquan Julius Releases Return Records Debut Single “Let’s Dance” on August 17th

August 17, 2021 (WASHINGTON D.C.) – R&B/Soul Singer-Songwriter Diquan Julius has extended the summer vibes with the August 17 drop of his newest single, “Let’s Dance,” available now for streaming and download on all major digital platforms. The feel-good dance record is the premiere release following Julius’ recent signing to Return Records, the D.M.V.-based independent artist-driven imprint distributed by The Orchard/Sony Music Entertainment. Produced by UK-based Greenlight Production’s Andrew Napoleon, “Let’s Dance” is a high-energy follow-up to Julius’ most recent single, “Soap Box.”

Reminiscent of many timeless classics, the up-tempo line dance-worthy song offers the perfect complement to cookout and wedding playlists with an undeniable potential for generational crossover appeal. “With this song, I really wanted to shine light onto the darkness that’s overtaken our love of gathering together and having a good time,” shared Julius. “My intentions are to bring back that feeling of being able to invite a special person out, whether it be your friend or someone you admire, and not have to worry about the restrictions of the pandemic. I want the world to dance together again.”

Based out of Washington D.C. and hailing from Hemingway, SC, Julius has seamlessly transitioned to R&B/Soul after a Billboard charting debut in Gospel music. He is now preparing to keep the momentum going with an official music video, followed by a debut EP due out later this fall.
